the city at night

Tonight, we walked up to what must be the highest point in the city. It's in the middle of Queen Elizabeth park and I was bursting with what it was like to be up there at night.
It was totally empty and dark and you could see a huge span of the city just sparkling.
And just when I thought it couldn't get any better we came across the most beautiful huge fountain show just for us.  Where is everyone in this city?
No matter..... the emptiness made it especially special.  A magical night indeed.
